My name is David Fernandez, and I am an owner of Imaginary Friends. As a kid, I got into visual arts by observing my Dad edit his home videos. I used to borrow his phone to create short films and then developed an interest in writing. The soundtracks and scores of films influenced and lead me to a realization of my interest in music production! I first started making music with Mark (M-19) freshman year of high school and never looked back. I started taking music more seriously during the pandemic and worked with artists Cashdln, Lascelles & J+Noir.

Since 2021, I have been working frequently with my long-time friend and collaborator, Rhea Raj. Our work together has been featured in major publications such as Rolling Stone, Rolling Stone India, Vogue India, and the Spotify billboard in Times Square! From photos, videos to magazine edits we've been doing it all! 

I first got involved with Imaginary Friends when Mark contacted me about being a co-owner and wanting to take his music to the next level and to create a hub for all of our art. He also had ambitions to help independent artists and to just give back to the community that gives us so much. It became a no-brainer, the perfect opportunity to blend all of my passions into a collaborative venture. I am excited to contribute my music production, photography, videography, and other skills to the group's growth.
